Caddy Vault runs entirely inside your browser. We do not operate a server. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with anyone. Your archived tabs, your search history, and your Google Calendar data never leave your machine, except for direct calls from your browser to Google's own APIs.
Caddy Vault uses chrome.storage.local to save the following on your device:
All of this lives on your computer. Uninstalling the extension removes it.
If you connect Google Calendar (a Premium feature), Caddy Vault requests the calendar.readonly OAuth scope. We use this to read your upcoming event titles and times so the extension can surface the right tabs before each event. Your calendar data is never sent to us or to any third party. We never write to, modify, or delete events on your calendar.
You can revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Caddy Vault's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
caddyvault.com is hosted on Vercel and uses Vercel's privacy-friendly aggregate analytics (page views, referrers). It does not set tracking cookies or identify individual visitors.
Premium purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
Caddy Vault is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
If this policy ever changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed.
